It’s that time of year again! We’ve been swamped with family sessions lately (which is great! I think it’s so important to document your family). Anyways, I’m not going to write much because I’ve got so many photos to show. But Enjoy!
I know…blogging is definitely not my talent at the moment! But hopefully I will be able to fit more blogging even though it’s our busiest season right now. So I’m going to keep this one short & sweet and share some of my favorites from my two September Weddings (both in Seattle). Enjoy!

Here are some photos from Dan & Jessica’s wedding. In true Seattle fashion, it rained! But we got some awesome photos in the restaurant of the Edgewater (where they got married) that we would have probably never have done if the weather would have been different. I’ve known Dan for probably 10 years now (he’s a good friend of my husband’s & one of his collage roommates), but just met Jessica the day of the wedding. And I have to say he definitely found himself quite the catch! She is such a sweetheart & such a beautiful girl! I wish you guys all the best!

So, I’m still in denial that it’s even August, let alone almost time for school to start up again! This summer has flown by for me, maybe it has been the weird weather…like the crazy thunder & lighting storm we had Saturday night (which I LOVED!)
For some reason this summer went by faster than any other! But…there are officially a few weeks left in August so my flip-flops aren’t going anywhere for awhile! =)

This is Ashlee also from WFW-She’s a trooper! She climbed through all this grass & jumped up onto this train car to get this shot, and it was worth it! I love all the color & texture in this shot!

And this is Britni, she also goes to WFW (I guess it was a bearcat week!). I just love the way the light is coming through in this shot, she looks like she should be in a magazine or something!
I just had to share this photo. I took it late this afternoon when the light just right. There is NO photoshop on this photo-this is actually right out of the camera! You don’t get settings like this everyday so even though I wont process this session for a week or so (we’ve been busy so we’re about 2 weeks out on sessions) I just had to post it so you all can say “aww” like I am right now! 
I’ve found that keeping up with everything & blogging can be a difficult task! But I promise that I’m going to try & catch up and keep somewhat on top of things! (I’m now shooting on trying to blog once a week! =) So here’s a slideshow of some of my favorite images over the past month or so (a senior, a wedding, a couple kids & family sessions & some fun maternity sessions!)
So now that I have my blog up and running I’m going to play a little catch up by showing you some of the awesome people that I’ve been lucky enough to photograph over the past few weeks! First is Tara & Levi’s wedding! Tara was on my the first basketball team I ever coached her freshman year in high school and I can’t believe she is married now! She looked absolutely STUNNING!! and Levi looked great too! =) They had such a fun, beautiful wedding! Levi is in the Navy and just got stationed in Spain & Tara gets to join him soon (how much fun would that be to spend your first few married years in Spain!).I had a blast shooting their wedding & wish them nothing but the best!
This was my first full year of owning Horizon Photo & my first full year of photographing Seniors, Dances, Sports, ect. So I kinda was a proud mom at Centralia’s graduation last Friday night. The weather did not cooperate at first, but right when it was time to hand out diplomas the sky opened up & was beautiful! It made for some great celebration shots!
