Here are some sneak peeks from super fun & beautiful wedding I shot a couple of weeks ago. This couple was really fun & totally in love…which made for great shots! Love the one with the carved piece of wood (it was the ringbearer’s “pillow”) Enjoy!

I think one of the best parts of my marriage is that both my husband and I love to laugh =). My husband has a great sense of humor and a very contagious laugh, which keeps me smiling everyday. Being silly, laughing, and not taking things too seriously is an important element in our marriage. It’s fun when I meet couples who also have that same element in their relationships. It always makes for a great session! =) Here’s a little series of some photos from a recent engagement session that I love. It kind of wraps up what I saw in their relationship =)
A sneak peak of all the pretty details from my wedding on Saturday. More to come!
As all of us with kids know, sometimes your kids have good days & sometimes they don’t…especially when they just turned 2! =) This little guy didn’t want much to do with photos this day. I tried all my little tricks to warm him up to the idea, but he was a smart one and saw right through them! When the session finished I was a little worried that we didn’t get the “wow” shot, but as I went through them quickly during the download I was so excited to see that we got some amazing images! After this session on Thursday afternoon I’m sure this mom & dad were a little worried that we didn’t get anything either, so I wanted to post these sneak peeks to put your mind at ease! =) Enjoy!

I had SUCH a great time at this wedding! Everything was so beautiful & everyone knew how to have a good time! Ashley & George, thank you again for making my job easy! You guys have been great to work with and I wish you nothing but the best! Enjoy this sneak peak!

Hi Everyone!
Here are the background choices for Friday. The only ones that will be “weather permitting” is the Nature scene and the blue and green chairs that are outside (we can shoot both chairs inside if we need to). It says “showers” for Friday, which is totally do-able! There will also be a metal, more urban scene too, it’s brand new and I don’t have photos yet (but I’ll take some today or tomorrow and post them for you guys).
Also, Sunday backgrounds will be announced by Tuesday morning. (the Sunday backgrounds will be indoors, with fun chairs/couches, and window light, my favorite!)
Thank you all SOO much for all your support with the fundraiser! There are still spots open on both days so please tell your friends & family! And remember that it doesn’t have to be just children’s photos, you and your spouse, your dog/cat, boyfriends, girlfriends, cousins, grandparents, anyone!! The more the merrier!
Can’t wait to see you all this weekend!
Happy Easter!
I am SO excited to be helping raising money for Team Mia! Mia’s story hit close to home for me. Mia is just 2 months younger than my oldest daughter Ellie, and last year Mia was diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia at the age of 2. I’ll tell you right now I have no idea what type of cancer High Risk Acute Lymphocytc Leukemia is, but whatever it is it brings tears to my eyes just thinking about a child Ellie’s age, or any age for that matter having to go through it. What a strong little girl Mia is.
When I heard about Mia’s story and how they have started a group (Team Mia) to raise money for Seattle Children’s Hospital and cancer research I knew I wanted to help. So…I decided that I’ll do what I do best and put together a “photo fundraiser”. We’ve done this once before about 1.5 years ago and it was a huge success! I want this one to be the same, so please give us a call and sign up for a mini-session and spread the word to friends, family, co-workers, ect.
Here’s the details:
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure to photograph my cousin Brittany’s wedding. It was beautiful. Flat out beautiful. And she was beautiful, just stunning! …Josh looked pretty nice too! =)
I think I would have to say that it was the most romantic wedding I’ve ever been to, they were just so in love with each other! The whole family agrees that Josh is a great addition to the family, but most of all we just love how happy he makes Brittany. I’m so happy for you guys! Love you both!
About two weeks ago I had the pleasure to photograph our friends new baby Phoenix. I can’t even tell you how fun it is to watch everyone’s families grow & change (I photographed his mom & dad’s wedding about 6 years ago!). And it’s SO much fun to not be the only people out of our friends to have babies! =)
Phoenix & Charlie (our new little girl) had the same due date, so the race was on! Phoenix won! Charlie came a week later, so the two of them are exactly a week apart. Phoenix is about a month old in these pics and he is SO expressive!! I just love all his cute looks! He is absolutely adorable! Congrats you guys!
