It was SO much fun to photograph this wonderful growing family! They are waiting for Little Miss Avery to arrive here in about 4 weeks, but decided to get some fun family portraits taken why it’s still the 3 of them. I just LOVE each of these photos!! This big brother has so much personality!! =)
Another First Birthday session! I LOVE these sessions, and I’ve been having a lot of them lately which is lots of fun!! I just love how each little kid-o is different with how they go about eating (or playing with) their first cake! So fun!
This is little Mr. K who is such a doll, with some of the most beautiful blue eyes I’ve ever seen! And I LOVE his little monkey hat (Monkey is his nickname!…So cute!!).
So here’s another Blog Sneak-Peak! Ana is now ONE!! She came in for our First Birthday session, and man she’s a cute little girl!! And I know I always say this, but I can’t believe she’s already 1!! (I’ve photographed her when she was a newborn & at 6 months, and it just goes by too fast!!) Time flies! So we got a bunch of cute shots with this beautiful little girl, but here are some of my favorites!
You know that song? It’s in the movie Love Actually (which is one of my favorites). I’ve had this song in my head for the last couple hours, and I’m now wondering how it got there? Yes, I did watch that movie more than 3 or 4 times while we were snowed in for Christmas, but you would think that it would be out of my head by now?!?
Anyways, because I’ve been singing “Love, Love, Love” in my head all afternoon…and be thankful that it’s only been in my head, because honestly no one wants to hear me sing! =) I thought I would show some new shots that spark that romantic “Ahh” moment! This is Shauna & Steve who I photographed the end of December and are getting married in April, they were SOO cute together! You could just feel the love! =)
Little Miss “A” is now 2!! It seems like we just did her first birthday photos the other day, crazy how fast a year can go! This little munchkin is full of personality & such an easy subject to photograph! And oh my gosh she has beautiful eyes!! (and I love her hair too! =) ).
Saturday was my first newborn session of the year. Little baby Bennett was actually born the beginning of December but 8 weeks early (He wasn’t due until January 31st). But after 14 weeks of his mommy being on bed rest…yes I said 14!! Baby Bennett was ready to come into the world!! With the many complications that went on to bring this beautiful baby into the world, I can honestly say that he is a true miracle! Julie & Joel are a FB&G (former Bride & Groom) who were married 2 years ago, but I’ve actually known Julie since we were probably 5 or so (her older sister has been my best friend since kindergarten). So needless to say I felt like a proud big sister! =)

One big happy family!
2008 was a great year for the business & for my life. Business wise, I was so happy to get our new website up & running, and we have gotten great feed back from it. I also was lucky enough to photograph some amazing people & families! My clients are the best! We also raised over $3000 for the Emily Johnson fundraiser, which was all because of the wonderful people who came & participated!!
As for my personal life, it was great also. We were able to do some quick mini-vacations this year to Chelan & Lincoln City. I had my 10 year high school reunion this last summer, which was weird to think it’s been that long, but so nice to see people that I haven’t seen in years!! Then in September we found out that we will be adding to our family this spring! And though being in my first trimester during the busiest time of the year wasn’t exactly “fun”, I’m so happy that God has blessed us with another little kiddo!
But I do have some goals for 2009:
1. Blog at least 2-5 times a month!
As of now that’s one of my main goals, I have been pretty pathetic when it comes to blogging & I need to get better!!
2. Pick up a hobby or something fun to do (as of now when I have spare time I normally work! =) )
3. Photograph more people at their homes! I love the real-lifestyle portraits & would like to do more of them. I just think people (especially kids) are normally more comfortable in their own homes & it can be so much more personal.
So I have some favorites from the past year that for one reason or another never made it onto the blog. So I thought I’d share some of the images that I really loved over the past year.
Here is one of my favorite sessions, this is a perfect example of that fact that you can still get great shots, even if you don’t have all three kids sitting & smiling at the same time!
